Beitragvon BRENTFORD F.C. LONDON » So 24. Jun 2012, 12:24

Hi,

Brentford fan here,we are coming over for the game, just wondering if there is a supporters bar at the ground or a bar to drink in near the ground.

Sorry can't speak German so an answer in English would be good.

Cheers. :prost: :prost: :prost:

We are only a small club in the 3rd tier (League 1) of English football average gates around 5,500-6,000 we are playing ZFC Meuselwitz on the Saturday before and will have around 50-60 fans there for that game,as for the Leipzig game I would think 30-40 tops.

There is a private brewery with restaurant and beer garden about five minutes away from the stadium. It is called Brauhaus Napoleon. The web page is only in German but there you can check on the exact location.

@Brentford

He said that its a pity that the club t-shirts for the GermanyTour are wrong - according to them you still play against our new arch rival RB Leipzig

They were printed before the game with Red Bull was cancelled, quite like the idea of playing Lokomotive, you look like a REAL football club unlike Red Bull and all their Euros behind them.

I see you are playing Fulham or Fulscum as we like to call them, they are hated by Brentford (local rivals),hope you beat them but don't expect them to bring any supporters, their away following is very very poor.

Come on Lokomotive you can beat them  :kotz:

The Bruno Plache Stadium is limited to 7.000 for this game, me thinks. Normally the limitation is 4.999. During the last season there were between 1.000 and 3.500 people attending home games in BPS, but 6.500 in the Central Stadium when Dynamo Dresden was visiting.

I think there will be much more than 500. We are not exactly regaled with exotic trial match guests...

Uwe will be very welcome. Would be nice if he could take the mic for some greeting address to the audience...

Short translation:

This is a part of an interview with our president. His hope is, that at least 4000 people will visit this game because Lok Leipzig has to pay a certain amount to FC Fulham for this game. If there are less than 4000 spectators it will be a minus deal for Leipzig.

But here we are talking about Brentford, not Fulham. This is a different game. And its the 3rd league in England, not the 1st...  No offence, Brentford!

No problems Emmi,

Fulham where our big rivals in the 80's/90's when we used to play them, they are only about 6km away, but since they got money and promoted we haven't played them since in league or cup,we used to take over their ground and one new years day game at Fulham we had over 5000 fans out of a crowd of 9000 good days !

Don't expect them to bring many fans if any at all, they have very bad away support probably take away on average around 500 for Premiership games.
